This course is for anyone looking to obtain an Ontario hunting licence (Outdoors card).
In this course you will learn about wildlife management, small and large game regulations, game identification, and wilderness survival and first aid.
You must have completed a CFSC (non-restricted) firearms safety course in order to take this course. We are also offering the CFSC together with this course in a “One Stop” format. The “One Stop” option allows you to take the CFSC alone, or together with the CRFSC, as well as the Hunter Safety course.
Textbook is included in Hunter Safety Course. Student handbooks are not included in the CFSC/CRFSC but are available for an extra charge.
Duration: 10 hours. If taken, the separate CFSC is 8 hours and the CRFSC is 6 hours.
Prerequisite: Previous completion of the CFSC is required, and can be taken with the course in the “One Stop” option.
Minimum Age: The minimum age is 12. If taking the CRFSC “One Stop” the minimum age is 18.
