This course is for anyone interested in obtaining Canadian Firearms Safety Course and/or Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course certification in order to apply for a possession and acquisition firearm licence (PAL).

This basic course includes material on basic firearms handling and safety practices, ammunition safety, safe storage/transportation/display, firearms-related laws and regulations, and social responsibilities.

Student handbooks are optional but recommended.

Duration: 10 hours (CFSC), 6 hours (CRFSC)

Prerequisite: Students taking the CRFSC must also take the CFSC, or have taken it in the previous 6 months.

Minimum Age: Students taking the CRFSC must be at least 18 years of age. No minimum age for CFSC.

Description:

This hotel is located in the heart of Mississauga, near Hurontario St. (Highway 10) and Highway 401, and is easily accessible by car or transit, with plenty of free parking.

The training venue is the Hurontario AB Room, a spacious conference room with ample natural light. It is located off the lobby.

There are many restaurants located in the surrounding area, offering a variety of meal options during the lunch period. The main area of the hotel also has a seating lounge with television.
